ART

As well as playing in The Big Edsel Band; one of the top bands on the US East Coast, Art's guitar skills were also in demand from other musicians and artists. These include such people as Jackie Wilson, The Shirelles and The Coasters among others. Big Edsel has several video's on YouTube under Big Edsel Band.

He served as musical director for Charlie Thomas & The Drifters, where he joined them onstage playing several major concerts all over the continental USA. One of these shows at The Apollo Theatre in NYC circa 1970, was televised and broadcast.

In the 1980's, Art met Todd Rundgren, where after joining Todd's band on the road, Art was asked to record at Todd's studio in Woodstock, NY. Art played on the "Dream Is Not Over" recordings. These were subsequently submitted to Oliver Stone for use in a, at that time, upcoming MLK movie.
